So Monday's("Angie") and Tuesday(Thruster/Burpees) and getting a deep tissue massage by Dan Arvidson up in Woodinville made me incredibly sore. I woke up on Wednesday morning unable to extend my left and righ arm. So I was in no shape to hit up any WOD. The great news was that Corey felt the same if not worse, so we decided to do some conditioning today. Yes! Not that I love "Conditioning" but this was going to losen up everything.
This is an old photo when I did "Tyler": 5 muscle-ups, 21 SDLHP. 5 rounds. I vowed to never lay down again on my back like this like an animal surrendering, so I wanted to post this as a constant reminder.
WOD
4 x 800m Run
Rest 3:00
2:47/2:46/2:47/2:50
This definitely wasn't "Cake" but it didn't suck too bad. My 1st run was kind of my warm up but what I quickly found out was that I was still running pretty hard because I couldn't beat that in the end. My 2nd round I started with a decent pace because this route we ran incline for atleast 30% of the way. But if you think about it, if I tap myself out in the beginning then I'm sucking for the 2nd half. All in all, no strategy will run it for you so, just run. This was a great active recovery workout.
