Bench Press and Jump Punk!


Today's WOD challenged one of my weaknesses and that is the "Snatch".  I've watch alot of Coach Bergner videos and him teaching the snatch so all I could hear in my head was, "pull yourself under the bar!".  After all was said and done I ended at #105 but I gradually worked up to this weight.  But I know I could of started at that weight or possibly went a bit higher. 

I was unclear where to put my bench at since the recommended weight was #200 and I knew that I would not survive this WOD at #200, let alone finish.  So I dropped it to #185 and went from there.  1st round, I got 13 reps before having to re-rack. 2nd round, I got only 5 reps before having to re-rack and then on my 3rd round I only got 3 reps then I creeped up to 9.  The box jumps were cake especially when I was thinking about pressing #185.
