Day 7 in the bag! Wow, I can't believe how fast a week has flown by. Ok, what have I noticed the most? 1) energy levels are up 2) my stool is solid like clay 3) I feel overall amazing 4) I don't crave sugar as bad as Day 4:( 5) I've been doing my WOD's lately and trying to recognize differences and I do. I feel like I have more strength and I'm recovery decently 6) I started around 165lb and today 161.6lbs (I don't watch weight on a regular basis and I realize that water flucuates but still not a bad response 7) When I get hungry I am instantly satisfied. 8) I have not recognized any "mid-afternoon" crashing or being over tired 9) I'm never hungry after I eat and 10) I am really excited to see what Day 14, 21, 28 and 30 feel like.
The kid in the picture is my son who weights 69lbs and is deadlifting 70lbs (over body weight). The funny story goes like this.............We just picked up our new 70lb Kettlebell and we were walking out the door and I decided to get a picture of him pretending to pick it up. Elijah walks right up to it, strattles it, rocks his hips back and deadlifts it. Now, I am amazed right now. He just walked up to it and picked it up with relative ease. He then starts to tell me that he can't believe he deadlifted 32lbs! I stopped him in his track and said," No mijo (my little boy) that is 32kg=70lbs! Now, he's excited! Once again kids are a perfect example of perfect form and technique because they have not had the corporate job working 10-12 hours a day yet sitting at a computer all day. (Thats how we unlearn perfect form and technique)
