12/17/09-Day 8

What a day! Started my morning with a 2K Row. Wow! That will wake you up. I'm starting to realize that I am recovering quicker after a workout which is awesome. It was about 2 or 3 weeks ago that I told corey that I need to start eating clean on a regular basis because its taking me forever to recover. Low and be hold its day 8 of eating clean (Paleo Diet) and I'm noticing a huge difference. My biggest thought in the beginning was that it will hard to avoid the grains. But....that is not even an issue. Grain Free!

Breakfast: 4 blocks
3 eggs
1 strip of bacon
1 cup tomatoes
1 orange
1/2 apple

Lunch:
4 cup spinach
1/4 pepper
1/2 tomato
4 1/2" cucumber
2/3 cup celery
5oz tuna
1 egg (hard boiled)

Snack:

Dinner:
6oz lean ground beef
2 cup spinach
1 cup mushrooms
4 tbs avocado
1 cup tomatoes
1 cup mixed fruit

Snack:
2 cups frozen grapes
3 macadamia nuts
1 organic chicken link
